Tandahimba

District Capital of Tandahimba district in Mtwara Region, Tanzania. Formerly a small village, until chosen to be capital in 1997 of the newly created district. It was the home of an Anglican mission during colonial times, consisting of a middle school and a dispensary on the west end of town.
